This state-of-the-art plant, operated by the Northwest Dairy Association (NDA), can process 8 million pounds of milk per day, creating over 1,000 jobs and expanding Darigold’s global export capabilities.
Darigold, Inc., a leading American dairy company and the marketing and processing arm of the Northwest Dairy Association (NDA), has officially commenced operations at its new large-scale milk processing facility in Pasco, Washington.
Headquartered in Seattle, Darigold represents over 300 dairy farm families across the Pacific Northwest and plays a vital role in the U.S. dairy industry. The newly launched Pasco facility is one of the most advanced milk processing plants in the country. With the capacity to handle up to 8 million pounds of milk per day, it sources raw milk from more than 100 regional farms.
The facility is set to produce high-demand dairy products such as butter and powdered milk, serving both domestic markets and exports to nearly 30 countries. The investment not only strengthens Darigold’s global supply chain but also boosts the regional economy, creating over 1,000 jobs.
This development is part of Darigold’s long-term growth strategy aimed at meeting the rising demand for dairy globally while supporting sustainable and local milk production in the United States.
