Danone US, LLC, a major player in the food and beverage industry, has announced a voluntary recall of over 75,000 bottles of International Delight coffee creamer across 31 states in the United States. This decision follows reports of premature spoilage and consumer illnesses linked to the affected products.

The recall specifically targets the 32-ounce bottles of International Delight Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll and Hazelnut flavors, with expiration dates in July 2025. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has classified this recall as Class II, meaning that while the affected products may cause temporary health effects, severe outcomes are unlikely.

According to Danone, the affected creamers “do not meet quality standards.” Several consumers have reported discomfort, including symptoms such as stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea after consuming the recalled products.

FDA officials have urged consumers to check their creamer packaging for the affected product codes and immediately dispose of any recalled items. Consumers who experience any adverse health effects are advised to seek medical attention and report their cases to the FDA.

Danone has provided a customer support line at 1-800-451-8500 for further inquiries. Consumers can return the affected bottles to the store where they were purchased for a full refund or replacement.

The recall serves as a reminder of the importance of quality control in the dairy and food processing industries. Authorities continue to monitor the situation to ensure consumer safety.
