Kazakhstan’s Black Biotechnology LLP, known for its AL KARAL organic products, plans to enter the Latin American market, targeting Argentina and Brazil. This expansion follows successful negotiations and aims to enhance agricultural quality in the region.
Kazakhstan’s Black Biotechnology LLP, a domestic producer specializing in organic feed supplements and fertilizers under the brand name AL KARAL, is poised to enter the Latin American market. This strategic move follows a recent visit by the company’s founder, Asem Kenzhebek, to Argentina, where she engaged in discussions with local entrepreneurs and officials from the Argentine Ministry of Agriculture. The announcement was made public through Dairynews.today, referencing the press service of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Agriculture.
Black Biotechnology LLP has established itself as a successful exporter in nearby foreign markets and is now preparing to commence shipments to Argentina and Brazil at the beginning of next year. This expansion is contingent upon the completion of a new manufacturing facility and the acquisition of international certification.
Asem Kenzhebek expressed confidence in the company’s products, stating, “We are confident that our products based on humic substances will improve the quality of agriculture in Latin America and strengthen Kazakhstan’s international ties in the field of organic production.” This commitment reflects the company’s dedication to enhancing agricultural practices while fostering global relationships in the organic sector.
In a notable achievement earlier in 2023, Black Biotechnology LLP became one of the first small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Kazakhstan to issue “green” ESG bonds, raising 2 billion tenge. These funds are earmarked for constructing a state-of-the-art plant in the industrial zone of Almaty, which is expected to be completed by November 2024.
As Black Biotechnology LLP moves forward with its plans, the AL KARAL brand is set to make a significant impact on the Latin American agricultural landscape, promoting sustainable practices and contributing to the region’s organic production capabilities.
