CLFMA of India and Gokul Milk organized a seminar in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India, focused on sustainable dairy farming and innovative livestock practices. The event brought together key industry leaders, veterinarians, and researchers to explore strategies for improving animal welfare, feed efficiency, and economic resilience in India’s dairy sector.
The Compound Livestock Feed Manufacturers Association (CLFMA) of India, the apex body representing over 250 members across India’s livestock sector, in collaboration with Gokul Milk, held a high-impact seminar on “Sustainable Dairy Farming and Innovations” at the Regal Hall, Residency Club, Kolhapur.
The event served as a platform for exchanging science-driven insights into sustainable farming, ethical animal practices, and efficient livestock nutrition. It brought together top veterinary professionals, dairy industry leaders, and researchers from across India to share strategies for building a resilient and eco-friendly dairy ecosystem.
The seminar opened with a welcome speech by Mr. Divya Kumar Gulati, Chairman of CLFMA of India, and was chaired by Mr. S. V. Bhave, Past Chairman of the organization. Distinguished dignitaries from Gokul Milk—Mr. Navid Mushrif, Mr. Ajit Narake, Mr. Yogesh Godbole, and board members including Mr. Yuvraj Patil and Mr. Nandkumar Dhenge—were in attendance.
Mr. Gulati emphasized CLFMA’s commitment to advancing sustainable dairy practices through collaboration and innovation, stating, “Our goal is to empower farmers and professionals with knowledge that supports animal health and improves economic outcomes.”

The event concluded with closing remarks by Mr. Arun Ganpatrao Dongale, Chairman of Gokul Milk, and a vote of thanks by Dr. Saikat Saha, acknowledging the contributions of speakers and sponsors toward shaping a sustainable future for India’s dairy sector.
