Müller Yogurt & Desserts has teamed up with Myprotein to launch a new range of high-protein yogurts and desserts. This collaboration aims to meet the growing demand for protein-rich snacks among health-conscious consumers and expand the chilled yogurt and potted desserts market.

Müller Yogurt & Desserts, a leading player in the dairy industry, has partnered with THG’s renowned sports nutrition brand, Myprotein, to unveil an exciting new range of high-protein yogurts and desserts. This collaboration marks a strategic move to cater to the rising demand for protein-enriched snacks among health-conscious consumers, particularly those leading active lifestyles.

Innovative Product Line

The new range includes three core products designed to meet the needs of diverse customer preferences while complying with HFSS (high fat, sugar, and salt) regulations. The offerings include:

  • High-Protein Yogurts: Available in 500g pots, featuring vanilla and natural flavors, these yogurts provide 45g and 49g of protein per serving, respectively, with no added sugar.
  • Low-Fat Puddings: These 200g pots come in chocolate and vanilla flavors, each providing 20g of protein, combining indulgence with health benefits.
  • Low-Fat Mousse: Offered in rich chocolate and salted caramel flavors, these 200g pots also deliver 20g of protein per serving.

The collaboration aims to tap into the fast-growing chilled yogurt and potted desserts protein segment, which is expanding at a rate four times higher than the overall yogurt market. Müller and Myprotein’s partnership is poised to leverage this surge in demand for convenient, protein-rich options.

Strategic Partnership

Richard Williams, CEO of Müller Yogurt & Desserts, highlighted the goals of the partnership: “Our focus has been on enhancing our health and nutrition offerings while introducing something unique to the dairy aisle. By combining Müller’s expertise in taste with Myprotein’s strength in sports nutrition, we believe we have created the perfect solution to meet evolving consumer needs.”

Neil Mistry, CEO of THG Nutrition, emphasized the importance of the collaboration: “This partnership with Müller represents a significant step towards making high-quality protein products more accessible. We are excited to offer this range, making nutrition both enjoyable and accessible to a wider audience.”

The Müller-Myprotein high-protein yogurt and dessert range will be available in major UK retailers starting September 11, providing consumers with a new option for enjoying protein-packed treats that balance indulgence with health benefits.
