The awards will be distributed as follows:

  • First Prize: ₹5,00,000
  • Second Prize: ₹3,00,000
  • Third Prize: ₹2,00,000
  • Special Award for Northeast Region (NER): ₹2,00,000

In the Best Artificial Insemination Technician category, winners will receive certificates and souvenirs but no cash prize.

Application Process

Nominations for the National Gopal Ratna Award 2024 will be accepted online through the National Award Portal https://awards.gov.in starting July 15, 2024. The deadline for submitting nominations is August 31, 2024. The awards will be presented on National Milk Day, November 26, 2024.
